Can anyone tell me a store that sells petite size wedding gowns in the NJ/NY area?

I am super petite...I was just fitted for a bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding and I'm a 0. I cannot "visualize" what a gown is going to look like when they pin a size 12-16 on me...I'm sorry but it's impossible! I've only found David's Bridal...is there any others?

We live in NJ and my best friend is a 0 too. She got her dress at David's after having the same problem - most samples at other stores are a 10 or larger and she can't visualize. If you can't find a dress in your size, ask them if they can order a sample smaller or if they can get a smaller sample. If not, then you either have to be able to visualize your dress altered and fitting well or just stick to places that carry your size.

Two years ago I was in a small specialty shop in soho, the woman made both custom wedding and eveining gowns. My daughter is getting married at the end of september- I know what I want-just can't seem to find it

You can try Lazaro. He is a great designer in NY. He did my cousins Leslie dress and her bridesmaid here in Jersey (she's from fairlawn). If you want give him a call and tell him that a friend in NJ recommend him to you. He's great!!!
