My skin is medium-dark, (the color of my avatar) and I'm going dress shopping soon for a dance. What would be the best dress color and what accesories?

It all depends on your personality. If you are passionate and outgoing, wear red - it would bring out the warmness in your skin and would show off your strong personality.
If you're down to earth, relaxed and friendly, green would be beautiful, especially dark/olive green.
Purple is also pretty, and of course the classic black/white.

No.
I have dark skin, jet black hair, and my eyes are dark brown...they pretty much look black.

Watch a few of the old "Miami Vice" shows which had a black guy in nice clothes. Still classic.
