My wonderful husband and I were married in a ceremony far from our dream ceremony. Due to the drama and strife caused by families (planning things without our consent, minor differences between denominations that were blown out of proportion, and bitterly divorced parents) and the general stress brought on by any wedding (paying for it, trying to find a decently priced plus size gown, etc) - we decided to elope. However, when our families found out about this, some of them got incredibly upset and we settled for a thrown-together civil ceremony.
Would it be improper, a few years later, to plan a religious renewing of the vows? What is the etiquette for renewing vows? Would it be awkward to hold it at a different date/season than our original wedding? (We were married in early summer, but had originally planned, and would like, an autumn ceremony) Finally, any suggestions for reasonably priced plus sized wedding gowns?

I think it will be fine even if you choice a different date than original marriage.

Okay, now those are all custom made in China, will take a bit of time to arrive after you pay and sent them detailed measurements. SInce you had not given us a size beyond Plus, I did not pull an examples of used dresses currently up for sale. My daughter's friend ordered hers this way a couple of years ago and it was beautiful. Watch feedback and shipping cost on ones like this.
Now some advice if you choice to buy used dress. Make sure you know if it has had any alterations, taken in, hem shortened etc. Also bridal wear runs about a size smaller than street clothes, so be sure to check measurements to be sure it will fit. A good seamstress can do alterations but that does add to total cost. It is much easier to take a dress in than try to let one out. Also dresses that lace up are a bit more forgiving on size since you can custom fit it when lacing it up if it, still needs to be your size, maybe 1 size larger to work well. Most custom dresses like these can be ordered with lace-up closure, plus different colors too. Hope you find what you're looking for at a great bargain price!

I'm looking for a bridal dress/grown & I'm in a wheelchair. My husband & I are renewing our vows this time a chruch wedings since we are already marry by a judge. I need some ideas I am a full figured women and would like something beautiful for that day Help please....

Are you comfortable showing your legs? If so, I would definitely opt for something knee length so the fabric doesn't get caught up in your wheelchair's wheels or the footrest. Maybe a beautiful ivory lace suit. If you don't want to wear ivory/white, I'd check out the mother of the bride suits/dresses, as they also tend to come in plus sizes and are more covering than today's bridal gowns. Maybe a pastel, like pink or pale blue, or dove grey. Roaman's has some nice dress suits for plus size women. Go to "special occasions" or "Wedding party". www.roamans.com
