I am going to a wedding tonight and Im wearing a black cocktail dress with black beading. Any ideas on ways to add a litte color to my outfit (accesories)?

I am attending a November wedding that will take place in late afternoon and the reception will be in the evening. I bought a black dress and a hot pink shawl....It's not suppose to be super formal but I know everone will be wearing dresses. Should I get a white or cream colored shawl instead?? I really wanted to add some color....maybe hot pink is to bright?
