My boyfriend asked me to marry him, we been dating for 2 and a half years and we just want to simply get married at the courthouse. i was wondering if anyone had any idea on what should i expect from this?(how many people can i invite, can i bring flowers?) any ideas on what should i wear? what should he wear and where can we go out to eat afterwords?

You should ask the courthouse how many people they can accomodate.
Wear whatever you and he want... Blue jeans to a full wedding gown and tuxedo as long as it is what YOU and HIM want... Remember this is your wedding day and it should be what you want it to be...
You will probably not hold the flowers during the vows, and that is all a courthouse ceremony is, but if you want flowers for your pictures then have flowers... I had custom silk arrangements done for a miniscule fraction of the cost of real flowers...
The ceremony itself will most likely be rushed due to typical scheduling immediately before or after regular court proceedings for the judge.
For a celebration with loved ones afterwards you can do anything you like... From a typical "reception", to dinner at a local restaurant, catered or homemade cuisine at a relatives home... Again, this is YOUR wedding so do whatever you feel comfortable with.
I had a small courtroom ceremony with 7 people, then a total of 15 for dinner afterwards at my father's home. We had a combination of homemade and catered cuisine, a formal wedding cake from the bakery, I wore a dress, my husband in a suit, I had silk flowers arranged, and even my daughter was dressed to be an angelic flower girl.
All toll we spent (less wedding rings) about $800.
Our formal wedding reception will be this coming summer.

have you tried the galleria.
almeda mall has one store dont remember the name of it (it sells wedding gowns too) with lots of nice dresses o n pasadena times square mall has some stores with dresses too. if your tall you might want to check macy's out. they got nice dresses but they're big (for tall ppl)
