wedding dress color for fair skin image
I'm looking for the best eye shadow combination for a dress that looks like a wedding dress. I'm fair skinned (not incredibly pale but not at all tan), brown eyes with dark dark blond hair (almost brunette). I'm going for a minimum of makeup... I'm not wearing any foundation or power, just going for eyeshadow, brown eyeliner (maybe black eyeliner) and very little lip color (probably color gloss, not lipstick).
Anyone got any good suggestions?

What is a good color prom dress for someone with VERY fair skin, medium brown hair and hazel eyes?
Sophie
I always thought bright colors such as red and royal blue would be good but I'm not sure I've been seeing mixed things on the internet. Also I always thought white looked good on people with fair skin depending on the tone of the skin but I'm not sure if it would actually wash me out. Does anyone know? Thanks!
Answer
White might make you look like you're going to a wedding. Prom is about being flirty, fun, and most important comfortable since you'll be dancing all night. Since you have very fair skin, mostly any color would work. Think of yourself as a black canvas. If you paint any color on it, it'll still look nice. The trick is picking the right color for the occasion and since you're going to prom, you'll want to look classy and fun at the same time.
Like you mentioned red would be good but not BRIGHT red. Try something softer on the eyes like Burgundy, Lilac, Teal, of Hunter Green. If you want more color, you can also try dresses with Ombre effect.
Hope it helped
