Q. im going to my cousin wedding and im thinking about wearing a cocktail dress but don't know what colour to pick for my skin tone without looking like a fashion don't.i live in the caribbean so colour is accepted,but which shall go with.

I have a black halter cocktail dress that's very simple and I want to do a smokey eye with my makeup. I'm really good at doing eye makeup, but I can never get the black smokey eye just right? Any suggestions? Pictures and step by step instructions please???
I'm also open to other colors besides black and gray...I have tan skin and brown hair and brown eyes...and I also don't need negative comments so don't answer if you're too stupid to help.
