I have a champagne colored wedding dress. My bridesmaid dressses are black with champagne sashes. Please help me with my reception linens!!!!

Take a minute to picture everything. You perhaps are going to have a large room for your reception. You walk into the room and.... there are tables with white or champagne tablecloths on them. The chairs have white or champagne covers, and the sashes are black, like the dresses. As cool as it sounds, it's going to look very distracting with all those black bows, plus the centerpieces. Go for a white or champagne sash on the chairs, napkins and tablecloths, and bring the black in only in small pieces. A little black will go a long way. You could make black ribbon bows for napkin rings, put black onyx rocks in the flower vases, or use black confetti on the tables. Don't use black candles. They never look right because the wax is funny and makes little white marks on the candles, so they look like they've been stored in somebody's basement too long.

The color of my wedding is canary yellow and my bridesmaid are wearing canary yellow and the groom and his groomsmen are all wearing white tuxedos with canary yellow tie and vast. I was just wondering what color wedding dress should I wear I don't wont to do white. One of my friends said ivory.... but what do yall think? I want to stand out so I dont wont to wear yellow.

Wear white!!! I had the same question last week about my wedding dress. Modern days you can wear what ever color you want. You have to wear what makes you happy, I'm not a ivory or beige person when it comes to wedding dresses, I think they look dingy. White represents purity of the heart.
