David's Bridal Gown V9462?

misshammy

Any bride out there that had this dress (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=3361&prodgroup=10) or one close to it that can send me photos of you and your wedding? Mainly the wedding party? I'm curious how you played it up.. Thanks!!
Hmm.. The link doesn't seem to take you directly to the dress... Search for V9462. That is the model number of the dress.

Answer
Ok, I work at David's Bridal and we have seen some amazing things done with this dress. The dresses that have a lot of lace or overlay are a lot harder to play up with the wedding party than with the solid satin gowns. Those types of dresses look particularly nice paired with the shorter cocktail length dresses such as styles 83262, F13128 and 83266. It's all going to depend on your colors, time of year, and if it is indoors or out. If you have a spring/summer wedding outdoors with shorter desses, I suggest 83162 or F12284. Those dressses look great in a lot of colors. For longer dresses, try F12495. If you have a fall/winter indoor wedding, I suggest the 83259, 83266 or 83262.

I wouldn't suggest a sash. Most people try the sahes to add color and incorporate it throughout, but with the complexity of the lacy overlay, I would stay clear of that. Use a lot of lace in your decorations instead. Use lace in the bridal and bridesmaid's bouquets, in your veil, and on the cake. There are a lot of lace designs to incorporate with your cake and also as overlays for your tables during the reception. You can also create centerpieces using the lace theme.

Schedule your comeback appointment as well as a nonbridal appointment and have your bridesmaids with you (or someone close to you to stand in for them). Have them try on the different styles with your dress and TAKE PICTURES!! Go home, then look at them two days later. Don't make a rush decision. You need to see the pictures when you don't have everyone's opinion fresh in your head. Your wedding consultant should be patient and understand. Let me know how it all works out!

Do bridal shops sell red wedding gowns?

I have been looking for a red wedding dress and I can only find them online I would like to be able to go to a bridal shop and try them on! please help!!!

Answer
My dress is red and came from David's Bridal.

I also went into a store that carried the Alfred Angelo (Or however the heck you spell it) and they had a red dress on the racks.

Some stores also have the option of ordering their dresses in different colors

However, you usually have to ask. Most people just want white dresses so it's rare that they have the colored ones on display anywhere.
