Just what to know what colors are best for a wedding dress for a wedding vow renewal. need a list of colors that are good. thank you for all your help.
Answer
You don't wear a wedding dress to a vow renewal. You wear a pretty dress, either cocktail length or long depending on the time of day and the formality of the occasion. No veil, no attendants, no being escorted down the aisle.
I would choose something in a color that you feel really pretty in. For me that would be pink or periwinkle. For you it could be whatever color you especially like.
Congratulations on renewing your vows.

Fantasy Question: If you were planning a renewal of vows for just you and your spouse. What would you do? ?

IF you could do anything for your renewal of vows what would you do? Wear a formal dress? Colors? Church? On the beach? Casual, Semi-Formal, Formal?
Remember this is just a special occasion for you and your spouse. No one else would be there.
I would love to hear your ideas.

My husband and I went on vacation this past Feb. in Hawaii. We both loved it!! I always said on our 10 year anniversary I wanted to renew our vows. So after being to Oahu, we decided we want to see every Hawaiian island before we die. Secondly, I decided that I wanted to renew our vows on a beach in Hawaii. I haven't picked the beach or island yet (I still have 7 years to plan).
I want to get another beautiful dress; for our wedding I wore the big dress with the long train and all that stuff. If I am still thin enough I want a mermaid or trumpet style dress. I want a delicate lace dress with maybe some beading but nothing too formal. If it's still in style maybe one with a sash the color of the ocean. I would be barefoot and my husband would be barefoot too probably in just khakis and a nice shirt. I would want the renewal right at sunset because Hawaiian sunsets are breath-taking. I am excitied about it; my husband likes the idea too. We both feel that we were ripped off at our wedding because my priest had tickets to the NCAA final four game playing 2 hours from our wedding. The priest speed talked through the whole wedding, we did not have a full mass but our wedding should have lasted longer than 20 minutes. So we both feel like we need a re-do.
