Is there a big difference between a white and ivory wedding dress? To me they look they same. In person can you tell that the white is brighter?

It's hard to tell in photos, because those models are all airbrushed and spray-tanned. But I'm one of those fair-skinned people who looks better in ivory - bright white makes me look sallow. I can tell the difference when I look at the colors, but it becomes really obvious when I put them on.

My advice is to try on dresses in several shades of white and ivory to figure out what looks best with your complexion.

I have fair skin, with freckles on my face. Rich Brown hair and pale blue eyes. I'm looking for a dress for a glam city wedding that is coming up and need to look the part. Pale greens seem to wash me out, so I imagine pale colour in general will not suit me. Any recommendations will be gratefully received. Thanks
