In the movie Sleepless in Seattle, Meg Ryan is engaged to some guy before she runs off with Tom Hanks. There is a scene where she is in her parents attic and she tries on her mothers or her grandmothers wedding dress. Does anyone know who designed it?

Demetrios Wedding Dress Store?

I live in IL and my b/f and I have been talking about going ring shopping. The dress I want is at Demetrios but I have read several bad reviews about them being late on the dresses and things of that sort. So I want to get it early and I know we will not have a long engagement These are all things we decided on already. (But shh no one know yet I'm waiting for my ring) So anywhere else that has dresses similar to this in the Chicago land area

WOW! dress #1 is absolutely gorgeous!!!
I actually ordered my gown and veil from them and I haven't had any troubles with my order. they gave me an estimate arrival day for my veil which was mid April and it arrived today, not too late :o). They told me my gown would arrive towards the end of May so I expect it to be here in early June! Gosh I'm super excited!!
I would say that if you love their gowns that much then just stick with them!! They customer service is AWESOME!! But then again I couldn't speak for IL, I live in Seattle, WA.
Also, if you think shipping might be a problem, you could always get rushed shipping.

I also went to Bride's by Demetrio's in Bellevue. I'm sorry you had a terrible experience with them :o(. Do you (by any chance) remember the name of the bad seamstress lady? So that I can avoid having my alterations done by her please. Also, if you can recommend someone who can do awesome alterations for wedding gowns in the Snohomish Co. area? I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks!
