What colour dress to wear to my graduation?

It's my first graduation and I was wondering what colour dress to wear. I don't want to wear black because I bet most girls will be wearing that colour, Also, if you could answer these questions too, should I wear a short medium or long dress and what colour shoes?

well I picked my favorite color which is pink :] do you have a favorite color? maybe wear a spring color dress like pink, yellow, cream, or any pastel colors since graduations are around springtime. also if your graduation gown is white, then don't wear a bright color like red underneath it or everyone will see it through the gown. pick your color shoes to match your dress. silver or gold shoes work nice and you can find silver or gold jewelry to match. I wore a pink dress with silver pumps :] and since it's spring I would wear a dress that is short, but not too short and revealing. maybe a little above the knees or to the knees since it is a formal occasion :] hope that helps you!

any neutral. gray, nude, or even the same color with different detailing. Nude is a popular color for spring btw.
