I'm looking for a vneck or halter wedding dress to wear for my beach wedding. Please give me some suggestions.
I'm looking for a dress that has a sweep train. I wear a size 4- 6 in dresses.

If money is tight, I suggest you look at the wedding gowns in secondhand thrift stores. My sister got a $4,000 dress for $60.00. The money she saved on that one purchase paid for her veil, her shoes, her stockings, her alterations, and the dress drycleaning.
If it's a beach wedding, why don't you just go with a white bathing suit and lace wrap-around skirt over it? That way when the ceremony is over, you could peel off the skirt and "take the plunge" LITERALLY !!! ;-)

Which wedding gown is better for pirate beach wedding?

We're having a pirate-themed destination wedding with two ceremonies -- a "sacred" ceremony on a beach followed by a sunset pirate cruise where we'll be wed by a ship's captain. Wanted a dress that can look a bit more traditional for the sacred ceremony and then accessorized with belt, lace shawl and hat for the pirate ceremony. I think I've found the perfect dress to fit the bill, but don't know if ivory or white would be better. Ivory would be a more "period" costume, but I would like to wear white for my wedding and think the white would look better for the daylight beach wedding against the turquoise waters and palm trees. The dress doesn't have a train which I wanted, but perhaps it would be better not to have a train for a beach wedding anyway. So, here's the dress -- http://www.goldwo.com/ball-gown-multilayer-sweetheart-tulle-satin-wedding-dress-p6296.html -- Whaddya think -- ivory or white? And any suggestions about train, no train? Also, if you have any ideas for shoes, I'd love to hear those, too. Thanks everyone!
Answer
Not sure what the point in doing two ceremonies in the same place, minus one being on a boat, and not sure what a "sacred" ceremony is.
But I think the wedding dress is cool. I would wear black boots for the pirate wedding, and if you're on a beach for one ceremony, I would wear something flat, high heels will not be easy to walk in on sand.
