I'm looking for a mermaid, trumpet, or drop waist wedding gown with a nice fabric under $600. I've been to davids, jasmine's and fell in love with a dress from Wolsfelts(sp) but it was $1,000. I can't imagine spending more than $600 for a dress...any good places local or far! Wedding is in October, this year... Thanks and help! ;-)

Have you considered looking at formal and bridesmaid dresses? I bought my wedding dress for $350au. It is a beautiful 'grecian' design, very simple and classic but well cut and fit perfectly and I ordered it in ivory. It looks stunning on, and when I looked at similar dresses in a wedding boutique they were several times more expensive, and I couldn't see the difference (except they were covered in too much glitz and glitter - ugh! cheap and tacky!). Neither my mum, sister or friend guessed that it wasn't a 'wedding dress'.
