wedding dress color for redheads image
Rylie
I'm a redhead and I am going to a wedding this weekend. I was wondering what color should I wear to a wedding? And should I wear a dress or a skirt? The wedding is indoors.
Answer
Red heads look REALLY good in green! Maybe go for an olive green or a sassy green for your outfit. You can wear a dress or skirt. I personally think either are good for weddings :)

What is a good color for early spring?
Miki
Everything will be outside as soon as the weather is warm enough in march. Can't decide on a color.
Answer
Pastel colors are popular for spring, the colors of Easter: pale pink, yellow, blue, green, lavender, peach.
Spring flower colors are popular, the color of pansies [purple and bright yellow], the color of forsythia [bright yellow], or of crocus or daffodils.
Ordering in season flowers is cheaper than ordering out of season, so it stands to reason these colors would be popular, just because spring flowers are cheaper in the spring.
I went to a wedding where all the maids each wore a different spring pastel color, the flowers they carried contained each color. It was very pretty, and the bride chose pink to be her color for the reception details. Her centerpieces were the same flowers as the bouquets. And the maids got to choose what color looked best on them. The redheads[3 of them] chose the greens, blues and lavenders, the california blond chose pink, the brunette got yellow. Smashingly pretty. and each maid, all of them different sizes and shapes and ages got to chose the style of the dress that flattered her own figure, all the dresses had the same material, and all were long. All the jewelry had the same beads, just designed for the type of dress each wore. The dresses varied from a halter top for the skinny tall young one[she wore a long chain with beads on it], to a strapless ballgown, to a unconstructed jacket over a jewel neck sleeveless dress for the short curvy[but not overweight] older one[she wore a all bead necklace just longer than the jewel neckline]. All the dresses had beading the same color as each dress. All the beads were the same kind. And one of the maids was 9 months prego.
It all sounds like it would not match, but it was gorgeous, they all looked like flowers coming down the aisle. and each one looked great in her own color and style of gown. It was a formal church wedding. And a huge fancy reception.
Another bride chose lime green for the maids. Another had navy and yellow with white accents. Those yelow and white bouquets showed up well in the pictures against the navy dresses.
One bride had all pastel pink, another all pastel blue.
Hope you can find something in there that hit a note with you.
