wedding gowns 1950 image
Amanda
I'm looking for 1950s / pin-up clothing - sweaters, pants, heels, dresses, skirts, etc. Love the style.
None of this Forever 21 Hot Topic "scene" crap. I mean real deal vintage.
Thank you!

I agree with the girl above me, but I think I saw another post and you already knew about the store...
Definitely try:
http://www.etsy.com/
They have all sorts of vintage clothes...you just have to search, try the different searches like "pin-up", "1950's" etc...
This site is most wedding gowns, they seem 50's inspired if not vintage:

SOMETIMES they carry 50's-ish stuff, nice stuff either way:
http://www.modcloth.com/
http://www.bonadrag.com/
But this is probably exactly what you are looking for:

Haha, it took a while before I could find it out of all my bookmarks...I might even have more site for you to check, but that's all the searching I'm doing for now! Send me a message if you want more links! : )
Hope this helped a little!

I need a tea lengh wedding tress, does anyone know any good websites, please please please help!?

I would like a tea length wedding dress, more in the 1950's style, with 3/4 length sleeves or a coat that is 3/4 length or full length sleeves. I have looked at davids bridal and ebay and not loved any, so if anyone has any good websites or pics that are what I'm looking for, please let me know, Thank you!
Answer
do a google image search for
tea length wedding gowns
if you get the same page i did check out the third gown from the left top row - silk organza polka-dot with fitted bodice and tea length full-gathered skirt - absolutely stunning and so 50's it'll make your head spin. the dress, maya, is from the michelle roth collection. [or just type in michelle roth collection and you'll get photos galore of her dresses]
the shoes are perfect with the dress and while it doesn't have sleeves it would be very easy to have a bolero style jacket made up to go with it. click on the photo and you get a larger image and then you can see a couple of her other creations! . but this is 'the dress'.
gee i wish i was getting married again - i'd be buying the dress in two shakes of a lamb's tail~lol.....good luck! happy wedding!
EDIT: ok whos the grinch giving out thumbs down?
