Don't overdo the colors though.

Wedding Tradition?

It is tradition for a woman to wear a white dress on her wedding night to show her purity. Which means she was a virgin. If a woman is not a virgin, but came to the Lord and repented, vowed sexual purity until marriage, would you think it to be right or wrong for her to wear a white dress to her wedding?
Do you think that by her wearing an off white dress she would be showing the world that she wasnt a virgin?
Oh and this is not a wquestion for me so stop telling me that I can do whatever I want haha...I want an opinion, I'm doing research.
Answer
it depends on the cultural background of the bride. while white or off white is the color of choice for american christians (to signify purity) other colors are used in different cultures. in some cultures the color white signifies death not purity..which I find quite appropriate in some instances hahaha in some asian cultures red is the preferred color of a wedding dress.
