that is definitely okay, and very stylish...I know there was this photo of a celebrity a couple months ago who did the same thing and it turned out great. It adds a fresh splash of color to the outfit.

What kind of hair and makeup would go good with a purple satin dress?

Me and my husband are trying to save our marriage with a date night. What kind of hair and make up will go good with a purple satin dress that has a diamond middle piece. its a short dress. also what kind of nails. and accesories. and wwhat color shoes? also the plans are going to dinner and movie and then dancing. so something that will look good for all that?

if it were me, i would leave my hair flowing out, and maybe some diamonte hairclips to match the diamond middle piece in the dress, if anything. i think a basic french manicure would look lovely with that, very classy, and "natural" to a mans point of view anyway. i think a diamond/diamonte elegant necklace and matching earrings would look beautiful, if not then purple feather earrings, and matching necklace would also look stunning. feather jewellery is very in at the moment, and sets of the "natural" look i've been trying to portray. with shoes my general rule is either the exact same colour of the dress or darker. so if you cant find shoes to match th exact purple of the dress, wear black shoes, heels, of course. black heels are always guaranteed to make your legs look slimmer and longer. hope i helped, good luck :)
