Have a 40 yr old wedding gown. Read online that someone had their dress made into a Miniature version. I don't sew but would love to find someone who could make this

How long does it take for an all lace wedding gown to start turning yellow when not preserved yet?

I got an all lace beaded gown for my wedding that was back in August. I purchased the dress however in February of last year. I havent got it sent out for preservation yet but was wondering how long until it will take before it starts turning yellow? I have had it in my davids bridal zip garment bag from when i purchased it and from the second i got out of it the day of the wedding.

It would take years, but they generally suggest you get your dress preserved in acid free containings within a year of your wedding...assuming you didn't own the dress for more than about a year prior to your wedding.

You should probalby go ahead and get it preserved now...I know it's pricey but shop around...you don't want that baby to start yellowing!
