I'm having a fall wedding, October 10th. I'm having a hard time finding the right color for the bridesmaid dresses. I want to do the fall colors but I really don't want to regular red because everyone does that and I'm scared to use orange because I don't want a d@mn Halloween wedding. Any ideas??

You know, the really hot trend right now is 'jewel tones'.
I think a deep blue, purple or green would be gorgeous. Something like this...

I think these colors are good for fall, but stray away from the typical fall wedding colors. I actually love this WTOO line and the others colors that may work for you are the cabernet, black, pomegranite, sapphire, plum, cognac, avocado, dulce de leche...there are more.
As for the reception colors...I think after you pick a dress color...you can go to knot.com and search that shade...and they have ideas for colors to pair with it, reception, flower ideas etc. Good luck! I would love to have a fall wedding...but my fiance is still in college, and we have to plan our honeymoon around school! Congrats!

White & shades of white should always be the colour of a wedding dress. any other colours or pastels and you run the risk of blending in with the guests. its your special day so stand out a mile!
Its styles that change, try looking at some of the latest movies like pride and prejudice go for an olde english twist men can wear mourning suite tails and top hats. the girls in very flattering empire line dresses
