My cousin is getting married and she wanted me to post and ask what would be a good idea for a non white/off white wedding dress. She is not a virgin and most people know this and she doesn't want to lie. Anyway, she wants some fashionable ideas with links or pictures thank you for any info.

Non white dresses are very poplular right now. I, myself, am wearing a "gold" Maggie Sottero dress. And it is very popular to have a white (or ivory) dress with a different color on it.

Does wearing a white wedding dress implies "sexual purity", although most brides arent virgins?

Brides wear white, but white's suppossed to mean your a virgin. So what's the significance of a "white" wedding dress?

It has nothing to do with "purity". English Queen Victoria was the first woman to wear a pure white dress for her wedding. That is why all brides now wear white dresses because everyone wanted to copy her after her wedding! Before her wedding women wore any color dress but not white. She was the first to make wearing a white dress as a wedding dress fashionable.
