Which traditional wedding dress is the heaviest/complicated to wear?

I've seen chinese, western, and indian traditional wedding dresses. The Indian dress is by far the heaviest/complicated (my friend got married with a 7kg veil covering her head and body, not including heavy gold jewelleries). I wonder what other traditional wedding dresses are complicated to wear/heavy with ornaments? The Japanese kimono wedding dress seems complicated to me as well, but I have never seen it in person.

It might not be the heaviest, but a Japanese wedding kimono ensemble is fairly complicated, especially when you consider that a bride might change her outfit several times over the course of her wedding. The basic ensemble consists of a juban (under-kimono, though the collar and skirt may be visible), a solid-colored kakeshita (looks like a solid-colored hikifurisode since it has long sleeves and a trailing skirt), the obi, and the uchikake (which can be white or multi-colored). The kakeshita may have an extra skirt added to the inside to make it look like two separate kimono are being worn. The uchikake by itself typically weighs between 3 and 4kg. The other items might not be very heavy, but the obi is pretty long and unwieldy -- since it's for a wedding, the most formal styles would be worn, and those can be up to 400cm long. Kimono ensembles must be held in place by a series of ties, in some cases there might be a variety of small pillows and towels used to pad parts of the body for a proper silhouette, and the obi itself requires several accessories (obi ita, obi makura, obi age, obi jime, and possible other obi aids) just to stay in place. In addition, the bride may be wearing a wig rather than having her own natural hairstyled, and wigs usually weigh around 1kg. The wig is dressed with special, wedding-specific hair ornaments. There are two different kinds of wedding hoods that can be worn, though so far I haven't figured out the conventions for wearing either one. They both go over the hair and kanzashi though. On her feet, the bride wears tabi and formal zori, which can be quite high and narrow.

I have to attend a traditional family wedding. I am japanese-american, and my family still holds tight to traditional japanese ideals. For my sisters wedding,i have to wear a black kimono dress with white flower designs. Any ideas for my hair and accessories?

Put your hair up and wear dangly earrings--it will elongate your neck, and an updo with long earrings always looks really good with a kimono.
You can do something with color and get earrings in white, silver or gold--and add some red lipstick if you want, especially if you wear white earrings.
