My sisters wedding is this weekend (I am a brides maid), and I am getting my hair highlighted the day before. (don't worry, the girl that colors my hair has been coloring it for 4 years) The dress color she chose me to wear is almost a burnt orange. My hair color now is mostly blonde. I don't know if it would look better if I put some darker brown low lights in with some really blonde high lights or not. But the color my hair is now looks terrible with the dress color.

Answer
What would really be beautiful is if you took it to the next step and dyed it a dark brown completely. Not only would that look excellent with that burnt orange dress but that color goes with almost everything. If you not looking to go that drastic, maybe you'd like some highlights in a honey hue, a golden brown hue, some browns, and some darker browns to give it some dimension. When you go to the salon ask if they have samples of the hair colors they can give you and see what your prepared to do and what you think suits you and the dress, because ultimately you're the one living with your hair and if you not happy with it, no one can make you like it. hope this helps!

Would you wear a colored wedding dress instead of white?

Would you wear a colored wedding dress instead of white and if so what color? This is suppose to be a new trend. I've seen some beautiful ones. Would you do it if it was your first wedding or only consider it if it was other than your first wedding?

Has anyone ever been to a weeding where the bride wore a colored wedding dress , is so what color?

Answer
Yes! White is so old fashioned and lets face it, almost no one is a virgin when married anymore and that is what the white represented.
