I have prom on Saturday and I still don't have a dress. I've been searching a lot for what color would suit me, but all I see are two different answers! -_____-
Light pastel colors for pale skin, Dark colors for pale skin. I don't even know....
I always get made fun of for my pale skin and I don't want to look more pale than I already do.
I'm also a pear shape, if you guys could also tell me what dresses would suit my body shape, that'd be cool too! :D
Answer
I think pastel colors would look better. I feel like green dresses go well with pale skin and dark hair. Try a mint green or maybe a nice pink or lavender if you're not looking for a green dress.

I personally loved seeing all the long dresses at my prom.

Answer
I'm extremely pale and pastels look terrible on me because they're too close to my skin tone. If you're pale then light colors will make you look blah and washed out. I think bolder colors like peacock blue or kelly green look great on people with a fair complexion because they contrast the skin tone.
I personally like the bold blues and greens, but even a deep bold purple or cranberry would probably look nice too.
